The Omaha Chapter was founded in 1979 as the Blackhawk West Chapter by a small group of local area antique motorcycle enthusiasts. The Chapter name was changed sometime prior to 1982 to the Omaha Chapter. We are a local chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America.
Our First Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet was held at the FourT Service shop in East Omaha in 1979. Over the years the location of our Annual Winter Meet has changed from the aforementioned Four T location in Omaha to the old U.M.B.A. Hall in Underwood, Iowa. The more recent Meets have been held at the Kennard City Auditorium in Kennard, Nebraska. Our 26th Annual Winter Indoor Meet was held in Lemars, Iowa and was our 1st Annual National Winter Indoor Meet. Our Meets have always been a great place to find that part you need to complete a restoration, check out a vintage machine or get together with old friends and even make some new ones.
The Omaha Chapter is currently made up of antique motorcycle enthusiasts from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, South Dakota and surrounding states and Canada. We get together once a month at different locations such as members garages for club business, kick a few tires, talk old bikes and to check out each others projects. We also like to take our old machines out for the occasional dinner ride. Our larger events like Swap Meets and Road Runs will be here on this site on our Events Page.
